Contemplations

God Is Giving Us A Time of Reflection

A Merry Christmas and a very Happy and Holy New Year to all my brothers and sisters throughout the entire world. I sincerely pray that Jesus and our Lady will bless everyone as we approach another year in His name.

I want to thank all of you for being patient with me. I want to assure everyone that I am back, and be confident that I will continue to pray and share with all of you the wonders of God. I have received many emails and phone calls expressing concern about us. I want to promise you that all is well. I was given a time of contemplation and reflection on my spiritual walk with Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and Our Beloved Blessed Mother Mary, Queen of heaven and earth. At this time, I was asked to reflect on the many good and bad situations that are taking place as of this writing.

When I took a step back pondering the past few months, I noticed that the messages and teachings were spreading on their own. People were asking me for copies of all the writings and I was happy to email them what we have written. They were sharing them with their family, friends, prayer groups and strangers. I was assured in my spirit that It was the Holy Spirit and Our Lady touching the hearts of thousands of people. God’s messages and teachings were bringing hope where there was despair and fear to thousands of people all over the world.

I truly feel a connection and pastoral care for all of you--- regardless of who you are, whatever your faith, no faith, your nationality or political affiliations. When a gift from God is given to an individual, it does not belong to him or her. As all of you have your gifts, I have been blessed with some spiritual gifts, but they do not belong to me. I want every one of you to experience all the spiritual gifts that the Holy Spirit gives, and to have the fullness of the grace of God. I want to share with you the love of the Blessed Holy Trinity and the graces and love of Our Lady. I want to communicate to you what I have been shown and experienced. The only thing I ask of each of you, as I struggle in my own life, to let go of areas in our lives that will keep us at a distance from God.

Satan’s greatest target is the family. It is here that his evil is inserted into the minds and hearts of all. Fruitless arguments between spouses, out of controlled children, false criticism, accusations without facts, arguments with no end, jealousy, financing, despair, depression, loss of faith, and many other tools that Satan uses to remove Peace, Harmony and Love in a Home. This is, I believe is one of the major reason that all of us are called to conversation and asked Jesus Christ to come into our hearts. We cannot do battle with evil on the physical realm but must change our lives and seek and establish this Holy spiritual relationship with Jesus. We can do all things with God at our side.

At this beautiful season of Christmas, I strive to contemplate on forgiveness as a gift. All of us need to ask God to give us His love and grace to let go of our hurts, frustrations and pains. Satan will continue to place in our minds anger, hate, despair, anxiety, depression, and many other areas that are counter to us truly becoming children of God. We do not have the power to forgive anyone with our own physical mind and heart, but we can only truly forgive through the graces of God. We need to ask Our Lord to replace bitterness, anger, depression, and un-forgiveness and replace them with His unconditional LOVE. Many of us walk around as if we were baptized in lemon juice! We were all created to be happy, have faith, be joyful, and to sincerely feel full of laughter and hope, enabling us to have a genuine, gentle loving smile.

I want to address, as we end the year, several areas of concern that appear repeatedly in emails.

One email that really seized my attention was from a reader asking “how do I prepare for what is coming to mankind”?

In this and the following teachings, we will examine a few areas that may help us understand the steps that need to be taken to achieve direction and peace in these tough times.

In this brief discourse, we will look at the spirit of fear which can infect us, paralyze us and keep us from hearing the real voice of the living God. In seeking direction for future preparations, it is so crucial that we first deal with the spirit of fear in our own lives.

First, we need to truly know and accept with our hearts that God is God and that, under Him, no power on earth can bring us harm. Then, let us examine our hearts and responses to determine if we are thinking, acting and reacting in the spirit of fear.

How do we deal with the spirit of fear?

There two kinds of fear that I want to discuss: natural and supernatural:

The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom should I fear? The LORD is my life’s refuge; of whom should I be afraid? Psalms 27:1

  1. Natural fear can be a fear of heights, maybe failing a test, reckless driving, afraid of going into combat, getting caught in a lie, falling, horror movies, etc. These are natural fears and are areas that most of us have to somehow find ways to cope, change or overcome. Sometimes we cannot.
  2. Supernatural Fear: Fear of the unknown, fear of Satan, fear of demons, fear of going to Hell, fear of the presence of evil, fear of being spiritually unprepared, and many other evil spiritual entities.

Fear is an entity--a spiritual “living thing”. It can get a hold of us if we do not know how to master, conquer and defeat it. Sometimes, when I pray for an evil deliverance for some individuals, I am shown (physically} several spiritual entities, and with the authority of the Holy Spirit, I can command them to leave in the name of Jesus Christ. By knowing their names and with the word of Jesus Christ and His Precious Blood, we have authority to demand their departure from our midst. However, IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT EVERYONE IS AWARE THAT THIS NOT FOR EVERYONE TO DO! Do not attempt this by yourself, and I recommend that you see a Holy anointed Catholic priest who believes and knows what to do.

The reason I am sharing this is to make everyone aware that evil exists; it is real.

Most spiritual issues start with the spirit of fear.

Some of my experiences, unbelievable as they may sound, include encounters with evil entities that physically look like furry round creatures, about 8 inches in diameter, with claws that look like an eagle’s claw. With this one claw, they attach to the body and soul of the individual that is struggling spiritually with evil. Many individuals in need of this type of deliverance prayer may have several entities attached to them. However, it is important to remember that these entities have no power over us; only the power we give them. Other entities related to fear are the spirit of depression, suicide, anger, fear and many such trappings of Satan’s spiritual wickedness.

Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we have been given authority over these evils entities. Please note that in Ephesians Chapter 6, the only offensive weapon found in the armor of God is the “sword of the Spirit”, which is the spoken Word of God. When we speak the Word of God, we’re hitting the unseen enemy with the truth: God’s truth. Satan and his minions thrive on lies and deception. Jesus was tempted by Satan in the desert, He relied on the spoken Word of God to send His adversary darting away from His divine presence.

Battle against Evil: Finally, draw your strength from the Lord and from his mighty power. Put on the armor of God so that you may be able to stand firm against the tactics of the devil. For our struggle is not with flesh and blood but with the principalities, with the powers, with the world rulers of this present darkness, with the evil spirits in the heavens. Therefore, put on the armor of God that you may be able to resist on the evil day and, having done everything, to hold your ground. So stand fast with your loins girded in truth, clothed with righteousness as a breastplate and your feet shod in readiness for the gospel of peace. In all circumstances, hold faith as a shield, to quench all [the] flaming arrows of the evil one, and take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

Constant Prayer: With all prayer and supplication, pray at every opportunity in the Spirit. To that end, be watchful with all perseverance and supplication for all the holy ones and also for me, that speech may be given me to open my mouth, to make known with boldness the mystery of the gospel for which I am an ambassador in chains, so that I may have the courage to speak as I must. For, although we are in the flesh, we do not battle according to the flesh, “for the weapons of our battle are not of flesh but are enormously powerful, capable of destroying fortresses”. We destroy arguments and every pretension raising itself against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive in obedience to Christ, and we are ready to punish every disobedience, once your obedience is complete. Ephesians 6: 10-20

The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom should I fear? The LORD is my life’s refuge; of whom should I be afraid? Psalms 27:1

Franklin D. Roosevelt had a famous quote that heartened our country in the difficult times of the Great Depression: "We have nothing to fear but fear itself.” Why did these words so powerfully inspired and uplifted? Because with these words, Roosevelt rejected fear and successfully fought the infectious, paralyzing spirit of fear! Fear is itself afraid of us knowing about the name of Jesus Christ and the authority that we have received from God through His name; for it knows that it must flee from us immediately when Jesus Christ is proclaimed. Thus, we see the importance of being in a good relationship with God.

Once we understand the power that has been given to us by the Holy Spirit to tackle spiritual issues such as fear, h we have taken the first step in our preparation for what is to come in the future.

Secondly, we must humble ourselves before God, ask the Lord to forgive all of our sins, and seek a vibrant relationship with God. We need to be born again.

He came to Jesus at night and said to him, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from God, for no one can do these signs that you are doing unless God is with him. Jesus answered and said to him, “Amen, amen, I say to you, no one can see the kingdom of God without being born from above.”

Nicodemus said to him, “How can a person once grown old be born again? Surely he cannot reenter his mother’s womb and be born again, can he?” Jesus answered, “Amen, amen, I say to you, no one can enter the kingdom of God without being born of water and Spirit. What is born of flesh is flesh and what is born of spirit is spirit. Do not be amazed that I told you, ‘You must be born from above.’

The wind* blows where it wills, and you can hear the sound it makes, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes; so it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.” Nicodemus answered and said to him, “How can this happen?” Jesus answered and said to him, “You are the teacher of Israel and you do not understand this?

Amen, amen, I say to you, we speak of what we know and we testify to what we have seen, but you people do not accept our testimony. If I tell you about earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you about heavenly things? No one has gone up to heaven except the one who has come down from heaven, the Son of Man. John 3: 2- 13

Wow!!!!!! to be born again! This process needs to take place before we can become a true child of God. Can you imagine Nicodemus’ reaction to Jesus’ answer? I remember when a friend asked me if I was “born again” or if I had been “saved”. I was puzzled and angry! How dare he asked me that question? I was a Catholic, had been baptized in the Catholic Church, attended Mass when it was convenient, joined bingo and other church activities and always gave my dollar at the collection of the offering. I belonged to the true church and went to a Catholic School. If any person could walk on water- a Catholic could! My friend looked at me with a gentle smile, and he told me that he loved me. I was taken aback because I did not understood that the love of God could actually physically flow through a human being. He planted a seed in me, though I did not know at the time that the seed needed to be watered.

Taken from our First Article:

On a personal note, after returning from Vietnam, I was very troubledand traumatized. I had also been unemployed for some time, and was struggling mightily with myself as well as the practical reality of making a living. I felt like giving up and asked God to take me home to Him. One bleak day, as I was sitting down in my backyard, my heart started to beat very fast and I could not breathe. I felt like passing out. I thought I was dying, and asked my wife to drive me to St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church. I remember the nuns telling us that the best place to die was in front of the Blessed Sacrament in church, and that is what I wanted to do. When we arrived at the church, Father Flanagan was walking a German Shepard dog in front of the church. When I opened the door of the car, I saw the person of Jesus in front of me. I was startled; I looked into His eyes and He stretched his hands out to me, as if asking me to come to Him.

I turned around to tell my wife and Jesus disappeared. I asked Father Flanagan if he had seen a man in front of the Church and he indicated that he had not. I was puzzled.. I went inside the church and looked for Him but could not find Him. I prayed to God for direction and help. I remembered that my mother used to light a candled after she prayed in church. I did not have any money, but I lit a candle and made an IOU for $1.00. I did the same thing every day for 7 days and nothing happened. I became upset, and said to myself: if I cannot find Jesus in my Church, I will go to other churches and look for Him. I left the Catholic Church and went to various non-Catholic churches. I was so desperate that I even went to a witch doctor, visited the Masons and others similar groups.

After seven months of searching I found Jesus. I was in my den and praying for direction. Suddenly, there was a beautiful presence of holiness around me. I fell to my knees, and started crying because I knew how much I had offended God. I heard God say that I had been like a black onion, and that it had taken all this time to remove the many peels from the onion. The onion peels were my sins. He showed me that as onion peels were removed, one at a time, I was being cleansed until there was nothing left except for my dust. I saw my dust in His hand, and he blew the dust and told me that I was ready to serve Him. The problem was not the Catholic Church; the problem was me. He was only 16 inches from my nose. He dwelt in my heart.

I now understood what being “born again” and “saved” meant:

I gave my complete mind, body, heart and soul to Jesus Christ, and I asked Him to use me as He wished, for I no longer belonged to the world but to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He has risen, is truly alive and is my friend and my God. This was one of the many lessons I learned in my spiritual journey. The Holy Mass was no longer duty for me, but it became alive to me. The Eucharist was no longer a piece of bread, but the “real flesh and body of Jesus Christ”. The cup that I drank was the “real holy blood of Jesus”. I now understood things of God that are impossible to understand without His presence in my heart. I began to understand the teachings of our Roman Catholic Apostolic Church and who we are as children of Almighty God.

In a prophetic dream, I was taken to the Cross at Calvary to witness the suffering of Jesus and His love for all of us. It was at this moment that I understood why Jesus’ horrific death on the Cross “saved” me and all of humanity from eternal damnation. Therefore, dealing with the spirit of fear and having a genuine, strong relationship with our Lord are two important aspects of our spiritual preparations for the coming times.

I will continue, on our next writing, on additional ways to prepare ourselves spiritually for the “hour of evil” that is coming upon mankind. Remember, “Do not be afraid, for God is preparing all who are open to His love and grace. He is teaching us and preparing us through Our Blessed Mother and the Holy Spirit. He will never abandon us; all of us are in good Hands.

May the Peace and Love of almighty God be upon all of you and your families!

The Birth of the Baby Jesus

The Birth of Jesus. In those days a decree went out from Caesar Augustus* that the whole world should be enrolled. This was the first enrollment, when Quirinius was governor of Syria. So all went to be enrolled, each to his own town. And Joseph too went up from Galilee from the town of Nazareth to Judea, to the city of David that is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and family of David, to be enrolled with Mary, his betrothed, who was with child. While they were there, the time came for her to have her child, and she gave birth to her firstborn son.* She wrapped him in swaddling clothes and laid him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the Inn.

Now there were shepherds in that region living in the fields and keeping the night watch over their flock. The angel of the Lord appeared to them and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were struck with great fear. The angel said to them, “Do not be afraid; for behold, I proclaim to you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For today in the city of David a savior has been born for you who is Messiah and Lord. And this will be a sign for you: you will find an infant wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger.” And suddenly there was a multitude of the heavenly host with the angel, praising God and saying:

“Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”

The Visit of the Shepherds. When the angels went away from them to heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let us go, then, to Bethlehem to see this thing that has taken place, which the Lord has made known to us.” So they went in haste and found Mary and Joseph, and the infant lying in the manger. When they saw this, they made known the message that had been told them about this child. All who heard it were amazed by what had been told them by the shepherds. And Mary kept all these things, reflecting on them in her heart. Then the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all they had heard and seen, just as it had been told to them. Luke 2:1-20

Glory to God in Highest and Peace all men and women of Good Will!

¡ Feliz Navidad y un (Santo) Año Nuevo que sea muy Feliz!

Merry Christmas and a very Happy (Holy) New Year
